CELEBRATION DINNER
25th May, 2013, Buckhaven Community Centre
Among the guests who will be attending the dinner is Clive Russell who was born in Reeth England in 1945 but brought up in Fife from the age of 3 months.
He originally trained as a teacher but when his drama lecturer resigned to take over a theatre in Bolton, Russell joined him and since 1991 he has been working solely in film and television work.
Clive is a familiar face on British TV and has appeared in numerous series including Boys from the Blackstuff, Great Expectations, Waking the Dead, Silent Witness, Still Game, Cracker, Happiness, Auf Wiedersehen Pet and Coronation Street. In Margaret’s Museum, a highly acclaimed motion picture, he starred opposite Helena Bonham carter as the Gaelic speaking Neil Currie. Clive’s other film credits include Festival, Ladies in Lavender and The Wolfman.
He made an appearance in the 2009 film Sherlock Holmes as Captain Tanner and reprised the role in the film’s 2011 sequel. He also appeared in the 2010 film, The Wolfman as MacQueen.
In 2012 he was cast as Brynden “The Blackfish” Tully in the HBO fantasy drama, Game of Thrones, Tyr in the live action Thor; The Dark World. He played Inspector Frederick Abberline in BBC One’s Ripper Street (2012).
Among the guests invited are Billy McPhee, Harry (can turn on a sixpence) Kinnear, Ernie McGarr, Dave Clarke, Steve Archibald, George Dewar, Kenny Deuchar, Stevie Kirk, Greig McDonald and others including some of the current squad.
At the top table, we hope to have our Chairman of course, Sid Collumbine along with Jim Leishman, former player and First Minister of Scotland Henry McLeish, Lindsay Roy MP, Trish Marwick MSP Speaker and Paul Reid, dinner speaker.
There are still plenty of tickets left for the celebration to take place on Saturday, 25th May 2013 at Buckhaven Community Centre – over 18s only - price £50.

Player of the Year
Tickets for the East Fife Supporters Club Player of the Year Dance are now on sale. The prices are £10 for members and £15 for non members.
Also raffle tickets will be on sale at £2.00 per strip. The prizes are, firstly a season ticket, secondly a signed football top and lastly, a signed ball.

Spring Clean and Aid East Fife FC
As the weather, at long last improves and spring cleaning is once more upon us, please remember that you can turn those no longer wanted/needed household items into cash by taking advantage of a stall at the 2013 Bayview Car Boot Sale season. The stall charge has been kept at only £10 for the season which kicks off on Sunday, 14th April (10am till 2pm) and fortnightly thereafter.
As a fan, you can both financially aid East Fife and make yourself some cash at the same time.

The 2013 Bayview Car Boot Sale Season kicks off on Sunday 14th April and fortnightly thereafter. The table price has been held for a further season at only £10.
Please note that the time has been rescheduled from 10am to 2pm.
No need to book - just turn up and a steward will allocate you a pitch.Toilet facilities available etc.
